I have a 98 GT that has had a battery discharge problem for about 2 years. If I let the car sit for 2 weeks or so, I'd come back and the battery would be completely dead. Starting about two months ago, the battery now fully discharges in about 3 days if not driven. The battery will take an external charge and the alternator is working OK. I get a full 12V when it's charged. I have no aftermarket electrical equipment (stereo, amp, etc) I do have underdrive pulleys, but the problem didn't get worse until 6 months after they were installed.
Possibly related is the fact that neither my cigarette lighter nor the aux plug work. I've replaced the lighter and the sockets to no avail. It's NOT the fuse, I've checked it a dozen times and even replaced it despite it not being bad.
Where do I even start tracing this?
