Car Fax's should be free like my credit report!

I paid $40 for mine to find out later on that it had an accident not reported to the insurance agency.

Is it a manufacturer defect with a recall on the gas tank?

Not sure yet, fumes seem to be coming from the tank. She said when she walked into the garage and fumes over ran her. Gas cap has already been checked, old owner traded it in to a dealership and told her there was a tank issue

Not necessarily true. There are different types of credit inquiries and some do impact your credit score, some do not

Credit karma is good. Free and it doesn't impact your score. Wish car fax was free

There are hard and soft hits on a credit report. Soft hits or inquires do not ding your score. Also if the same party looks up your credit within 30 days it does not ding you score.

This is why you never allow car dealers or any one you are trying to establish credit with to run your credit report until you are ready to close the deal.

Looking up your credit report yourself does not impact your score.
