Lately I have been getting horrible sounds from them under the car. Sounds like marbles popping and pinging in them, its so damn annoying. I am considering just getting rid of them - what are my options instead.

Would running 2 seperate straight pipes 2.5 into 2 flowmasters help at all, or should I get pre bent x/h pipe and all?

Please help, the damn things are making me nuts when I sit at a light and hear the ting ting ting !@#!@!

Have you checked the heat shields covering the cats? That'd be my first suggestion. Mine rattled like marbles in a can as well. I cut them off with a torch and did away with the noise. If you're intent on swapping out your H-pipe with a better flowing piece then I'd suggest just replacing it with an aftermarket H or X pipe. With no cat's they're pretty inexpensive and you will always have the option of swapping the stock H-pipe back in if you ever find yourself needing to go through smog inspection.

if its not your heat shield, you can put a couple big screws through your catalytic converter thus putting pressure on the honeycomb filtering thing thats most likely broken apart and it should stop the rattling...or so ive heard..when mine started rattling i just put on an o/r h-pipe and kept the h-pipe with cats for when i have to go through aircare. its a much better option i think

O/R H pipes are too cheap to even bother with the old crap under there. If you need to pass emmisions H pipes are easy to swap.

I like the Bassani primarily for the sound it makes and the fact that it's stainless and will prbably never have to be replaced. If you want to go on the cheap... get MAC or Pace Setter or something.

If you don't have to worry about emissions DEFINITELY go with an X-Pipe, either Bassani or BBK. BBKs are a little too raspy for some people, but I love them on mine (especially mated to the longtubes). Although, if you want to keep the stock "headers" on, then I wouldn't invest all that money on the Bassani. I agree with Daggar, go with MAC if you are on a budget.
