I hope I'm in the right group. Anyway I have a 1990 fox 5.0 HO, with a 1940 Ford sedan body on it. My problem is someone put a fuel sender/pump from a 1987 Aerostar in the tank, the sender has 4 pin connectors 2 for the fuel gauge and 2 for the pump. I have driven over 100 miles and the fuel gauge ( autometer) still reads full. I am using a Classic Instrument fuel link which matches the sender to the gauge. The sender is still putting out 158 ohms which is telling the gauge that the tank is still full. I am not sure if the tank is an original Mustang. Also I just put a brand new sender/pump in and nothing changed. Can anyone help or have any ideas??
