i am getting ready to put a 95 roller motor in a 66 mustang and go carb with it. i have a few new questions now though. what timing chain cover do i need for running a mech. fuel pump? the one off the 289 will not fit.also to run the fuel pump there is a pin in the cam sprocket but what do i use on the 95 cam sprocket? i have an 85 distributor for it but wil the 95 oil pump shaft work with that or do i need to get one from a 85? another one is will the oil pan from a 95 work on the 66? it looks like it would to me.
one last one, i am going to run a c4 trany out af a 78 granada what flywheel do i need for it?

sorry so long but its time to get this last winters project done by this winter maybe....

The 95 motor has no provisions for a mechanical fuel pump. It will be a lot easier and cost less just to go with an electric fuel pump.
The distributor for the 85 will work just fine with the oil pump shaft.
Not sure about the oil pan working but you could always lower it into place and see if it clears everything ok.
You should be able to use a stock 50 oz. balance auto flywheel but not sure. Maybe someone else could tackle this one for you.

my friend said that it would be easier to use a mech. fuel pump. but if it comes down to it then i will go electric. can i use the 95 timing cover then? thanks for the help.
In order to use a mechanical fuel pump you will need to change the cam and timing cover. It would be cheaper to just get an electric fuel pump. You should be able to run the 95 timing cover with no problem.
