The guy that called me about it said its against EPA regulations and they are getting fined if they sell them so they cant sell them anymore. Stupid if you ask me. I wonder if o2 sims from a camaro would work. Thats what my buddy uses

For some reason that doesn't seem like it's the real answer......very odd.

Somebody yesterday posted that Brenspeed has a good stock of MIL's. Have you checked there?

doesnt make sense as to why they would discontinue the MIL eliminators because it doesnt go with what the epa wants, but yet there and still o/r mid pipes... i mean come on

Plus it just turns off your CEL.....not sure why the EPA would not want you to make your CEL go off.....

Being that the MILs only purpose is to trick the computer system into believing that the car is running properly (according to emissions requirements)

And the O/R pipes have an actual racing purpose.

Because in some emissions county's,alot of times if there isnt a CEL on they will pass the emissions test, and if im not mustaking it also makes the tools that check for proper emissions to think everything is ok,no eliminators...no tricking the computer. As for the o/r pipes they are perfectly legal to run...at the track only.So I can see why they would do something like this.
