It fits from 98- Present GT and Cobras???? I dunno about that one. You better make sure that the particular cold air intake in that pic will bolt up to your mass air and TB correctly.

If the thing wasn't so cheap I'd say go with a different one. Just outta curiousity have you checked the parts section of this forum and www.corral.net ?

nah i have not checked that out yet. I figured heck it was not that expensive so i would give it a shot. if all else fails i will just put it up for sale on e-bay. What does the metal have to do with it? I do not understand that.

Well some kits are a filter that bolt right up to your maf and thats fine, other kits use ABS plastic boxes, shields or ABS tubing because they stay a lot cooler than the metal...Its supposed to be a "Cold Air Intake". When I was shopping, a lot people with intakes similar to yours complained of how hot that metal got...the ABS should stay pretty cool. Steeda uses a metal shield, but its just that- a shield- not a physical part of the intake. Something to consider bro.

Don't worry about the CAI being made out of metal. The only time it makes a difference is when sitting in traffic. Once the car is in motion the IAT temps are the same for ALL CAI's. This metal vs. plastic debate is overplayed.

Now about that CAI you got.... The previous owner states it won't fit his Bullit because it only fits a single throttle body!? Did the Bullit come with an oval throttle body or something? Maybe the previous owner has an aftermarket TB on his Bullit? For $51 the filter and MAF adapter are worth the price alone, so you got a good deal whether it works for you or not.

Ok. Thanks a lot. From what you guys can see do you thnink that it will fit? I have looked at the pics and have looked at the intake and everythign looks like it would go. But i am not sure. I will just have to wait a week or so and see if it does or not. Also i was wanting to know about these HID lights you can get. Like the 20 dollar bulbs you can insert that are like 6000k i was wondering what your thoughts on this were. I will post pics of my cobra soon. Finaly a mustang forum where people talk. There is a god. ha ha.

I don't think it will fit. First, the GT's and the Cobra's have different throttle body's...size and shape. All kit's I've seen have a different design for each.

I would look at either www.densecharger.com or www.wmsracing.com . Both have excellent CAI kits...I had both.

As for the lights. The actuall HID conversion is a bit of money. I ordered mine here Bulbs . Just make sure if you get the fog light bulbs too that you get the 37.5 watt. The 50 watt people had problems with them getting to hot.

It definitely won't fit- I'd send it back because it will definitely not fit a cobra throttle body like it is advertised. He did write that it was only for a single blade TB, though. 99 Cobra is double TB.
