I was wondering if anyone would know what would cause this....

kind of a crappy picture. am i right in seeing that teh boot on the coil is rusty looking

yea its a crappy picture sorry about that... the boot is a rusty color and its oil i think...i took the plug out and it was fine...

if you're spark plug was looking fine i wouldn't worry about it. Change coilpacks with another cylinder and see if that one turns colors too.
