HELP!

I have a 98 GT auto, when I floor it then let off the gas I hear a slight screeching sound like my belt is slipping. Any ideas of what this is and how to stop it? It seems like it only happen when I let off the gas.

Mine does it too. I got a gatorback belt and it stopped for a while. Then it started doing it again. Just be careful how you rev it so you do not let it make that embarassing sound. Also, I carry a spare belt and a breaker bar in the trunk because I figure if it is going to make that sound, one day it is going to slip off...
