Buy a shop manual - Chilton's is my choice of the manuals found in most auto parts stores.

The Helm Ford manuals are the best if you have a few extra $ and are willing to wait for it to be delivered. See Service Manuals, Owner Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, Service Bulletins - Helm Incorporated

The other alternative if you live in or near a big city is to get an automotive machine shop to do it for you and do any machine work at the same time. This is expensive, but if you lack experience and tools, it may be the best route.
