well i said a few days ago that i got a saleen off ebay for 2000 and this is what she is...... icant beleive people let these cars get this bad.... it will be brought back to life

hope you get her back to the way she should be. eager to see pics. even if its rough thats ok. every now & then some 86 Saleen parts will come thru Ebay if you would like to keep an eye on it. sometimes i myself can come up w/ rare parts from a source other that Ebay

I've seen a lot worse so hang in there. It looks fairly complete which is half the battle. Did you get the front or rear body kit pieces with the car? If so, it looks like you have most everything to put it back together. How bad is the rust?

Definitely looks like a good Fixer upper. Great price. If I was redoing it, I would take that car completely apart and find out just how far that cancer goes. That hatch looks like a total loss. Hopefully it stops there. Good Luck with it!

i would love to help restore that w/ ya man. if you need help finding parts let me know as i maybe able to help. if you dont have the front & rear valances those will be extremely hard to find but they may show up. nice wheels! they are identical to mine on my SC

bought them from George of off Georges old SC clone. they are near identical to the Saleen DP5/american racing wheels Saleen used. mine are american racing wheels btw w/ the exact same centercaps as the Saleen/american racing DP5 wheels. its hard to tell the difference. the wheels i have were also offered by Saleen (4 lug) as it says in the #2 catalog that alot of the wheels were offered in 4 lug as well. i dont see my car as being 4 lug forever as i have my eye on an early set of mesh & 5 spoke Saleen wheels. i do have the 4 wheel disc setup though ;-)
