Here is my Crane 2031 Idle clip

94SC50 - THanks i love how it does that too, for some reason if i go from a roll it always spins from 5k-6k but if i go from a dead stop it never does. Sounds cool though.

1hot5.0- yeah it does drone pretty good on the freeway, but i love the way it sounds so it makes it all worth it.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

Yup...Sounds sweet alright..... :D What a dif a cam makes in the sound of a motor...specially when she gets up around 3k and up...love that sound..you can tell she's got some motor...

WhiteDevil did you have any piston to valve clearance issues with that cam? Did you have to retard or advance the cam or was it just a slide it in and go have fun type deal.
To be honest the cam isnt running the full lift. It is 510in 529ex with 1.7rrs i have Crane 1.6s on there so its now 483in and 497ex. I didnt do this on purpose though, im pretty sure it should work with the stock bottom end though. Im gonna throw on some FRPP 1.7s in a few weeks and try to get the full power out of this cam. But im also gonna shoot Crane Cams an email right now just to make sure.

No tuning done or a chip or tweecer. I am really surprised on how great this cam has idled. I was really ready for some headaches and stalling problems. It surges a little here and there but never stalls, honestly it used to do that before the heads and cam, so not much of a change. Great cam so far.
