and Ferrari's, Maserati's, and Lamborghini's don't???AJsStang said:remember that cars are cars, and there is no perfect one, except maybe in Italy. Especially American cars. They are crap. They wear out sooner, they break down more often, and are often more expensive to fix.
Sorry but I have to call you on that one...AJsStang said:Why do you think Mitsubishi offers the Best backed cars 10 year thing or whatever it is? Because they know their s**t won't break like its American counterparts.

DJsZincGT said:Lexus is just a fancy word for Toyota, and they are far from perfect. I know plenty of people who aren't satisified with theirs. When you pay $30,000+ for a car, you expect the body lines to match up period, I don't car if it's a dang Yugo. It's not that difficult to do it right the first time.
DJsZincGT said:I agree, if you pay $30,000+ for a car the body lines should match up. But, the guys in the service dept. were somewhat right too. The door should be absolutely no trouble for them to fix whatsoever. The trunk however is another story. There is zero, 0, zilch, nada adjustment on them. That's not the dealers fault...it's Ford's, and in that aspect they are right, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't fix it at Ford's expense.
tjm73 said:I had a 2000 V6 and the trunk was not right on it either. My brother and the bodyshop guy at my Dad's dealership went to adjust it and the same thing happened. WTF?!? No adjustment? So they got out the die grinder and elongated the holes on the trunk hinge. That gave a fair ammount of adjustment. And they were able to make it almost perfect. Problem solved.
