Here's what I did Today! With Pics!

trav_19 - being my car is a cobra I don't have the 3rd light in the trunk lid, they came on the wing. If I had a GT and was gonna do that mod, I would put it on the outside, seems alittle cheesy to me, rather, I would take off the lens and put it on the inside so when the light came on I would show through in the SVT letters. Just my idea, but not the only way to do it. That being said, you wouldn't get any show points probably but it would look good on the street.

I dig the SVT tach logo. I saw a guy doing that a while back, then he fell off the map. I'd be interested, little things like that are what set these cars apart. Keep up the work. I'll be posting up a few powder coat pics in a week or so. I love it when its free.

Nice door sills too.

doney_punch - They are ver easy to put on, the gauges come right out with some screws. You pull the bezel off and then just put the decal on the gauge face. I don't have any night pics but the car is in storage a little ways away from me, next time I am there I will snap some.

 The only thing you forgot to mention is that step 3 (or whatever step) is to ratchet back the odometer a few (thousand) miles and reinstal. It's like you were never in there...:nono:

Do you do your own powdercoating. I have been thinking about getting my own setup. If so, what kit do you have?

I did a few things with a friends Snap on kit(I think) Didn't turn out as good as the stuff I paid for. Right now I have a friend working in the Powder Coat shop at work for a few days. He takes a few parts here and there when he can. He did my panhard, Rouch shifter handle, Spindles, dust shields, some other misc parts. I am trying to con him into my torque arm and front sway bar. Those are a bit too obvious though.

Anyhow, Its all in the Media blasting - if you don't coat it right after blasting, it doesn't come out quite as well. I'll post pics when the parts are all done. Let me know about those SVT logos though......
