Here's what's replacing my 96

Well it's time to get rid of the 96 or retire her from racing at least. Here's my new toy. It's got a Dartblock 408 which we built over the winter. Some of you may have seen her in the 5.0 section. She runs pretty strong N/A, best run of 12.51 so far with low compression and stock tranny. Waiting for the F2 procharger to put on her over the Winter as well as a built C6. Gonna cage her up and hopefully see some 9-10 second passes. Tell me what you think. I love the 96 but it will never make the power this beast can, especially for track duty. There's one vid but it wasn't a great pass, launched real soft so as not to break the tires loose and granny shifting to keep the tranny alive.

Nice find man, I am sure it will be a beast. Sounds like you have good plans for it in the future.

Only thing I don't like is the wheels, but thats just a personal preference.

Thanks guys. Ya I hate the wheels too but I'm doing a 5 lug conversion over the winter so i was going to waste money on 4 bolts. Here's the new rims.
