I read an awful lot on cars, how this slipped by me, i don't know.
Not very impressive IMO. The magazines rated the shelby gt350 car crappy compared to others in similar price with a $38,000 price tag, so at $42,000 this one too is way overpriced.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ALL-NEW-2007-SALEEN-HERITAGE-LIMITED-EDITION-H281_W0QQitemZ120111932409QQihZ002QQcategoryZ6236QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Not sure what they were thinking here, kinda like the saleen focus, why pay an extra 15K for a car and get nearly nothing.
At least at 42K the normal s281 looks good.

I agree.

That looks like a real waste of dough. I can't tell. Is it even numbered? Not like that would make this model acceptable but come on.

This will be a big as hit as that California edition GT back in 89.

You would think Saleen would do a focus group on people like us to see if certain models would make sense to sell to the public before they spent the time and energy building them?

.....don't bring logic to this forum Bart! Its absurd for you to even entertain the notion of Saleen actually caring what their owners and enthusiasts think about a particular idea before they run with it. After all, the average blue colar middle class family (which is the majority of us) isn't there target demographic anymore. If you're not pulling six figures, don't even bother!! Of course, this is my own opinion so I can't speak for everyone......
