Hey guys, I read these forums from time to time but I only have a GT at this point. The thing is I found a used Cobra around my house and I was wondering if you guys could help me decide if I'm looking at a good deal. First, the car's body is not perfect condition there are a few nicks and scratches. It has 33,000 miles on it which is not terrible but should I worry about mods at this high a mileage. As far as mods go the only thing the car seems to have is an off road H-pipe and flowmaster after-cat mufflers. I took it for a test drive and OMG this thing is a rocket. WAY faster than my GT! But one thing that concerned me what how much the shifter shook. It seemed to kind of shake and the shifts weren't as smooth as my car at all. I'm guessing this is from it being a different tranny than I'm used too. The car also might have a short throw shifter of some kind I don't know. Anyway the guy at the dealership says the car was owned by a woman and has a warranty with it (I don't see how there is a warranty with the mods but ok) Lastly the cost, I'm in college and the GT is hard enough to pay for but my parents are maybe going to hook me up so I could afford it but, it's at $22,500 does that sound good? Should it be more or should I offer less? Thanks guys, Sorry for being so much to read but it would really help me out if I could have some guidance.
