Good one! That is way more up your ally than mine, but I'd gladly lend a hand and follow your lead commander.

Isn't it the part of Batman's mask that attaches to his cape? I'm not sure I dare try to remove that. Many have tried and not lived to tell the tale.

[Hijack mode on]

I do not know this guy from Adam and have never spoken to him. He contacted me totally out of the blue by email just as the guy Chepsk8 sold his car too. I assume he saw my car online or something and just inquired on a long shot.

Hope it pans out for you though, he seemed nice enough and certainly interestedso keep me posted. I did send him some of the hidden links on your site to see some pics, hope that was OK. I've noticed not a lot of 'em for sale as of late as I usually try to keep up on selling prices. Watch now with my luck, when/if I decide to actually put mine up on the block that I get no action at all on it.

No sooner than I made the last post, he calls again. In fact called twice today. I think I have what he is looking for. I'm sending him pics this evening and we'll see how it goes. As far as no new cars on the site...they are selling before I finish them! I have two 65 convertibles in the shop now so I'll have those up in three weeks. Thanks Pak

Hey cool, glad it seems to be working out. If so then the real question is whose direction do I send the next guy that comes along too, lol. I am running out of people I know with 69' vert's. Nice to hear that business in general is working out well for you, nothing wrong with demand ahead of supply except that you can't catch a breath.

Well Pak, you can always sell yours and build a Mach 5! Time for a new business for yourself: Brokering exclusivly 69 'Verts!

Worth,
My Ragtop was sold in Feb, Pak actually referred the buyer to me. I then ordered a Factory Five Cobra replica in march, BBFCM accompanied me on that trip, and I picked up 'Cobrask8" the end of April, and Pak met me there.

You gentlemen might want to slip over to the "Classic Talk" side of the forum.

Are you also in the habit of rolling down your window and telling speeders they might want to observe the posted limits?

Have the Rules changed since I've been gone, are we not allowed to talk about cars anymore?

It does seem like we have some new "moderators" here.

not to be a grump, but the non-tech discussion you guys are having would be better suited for the talk section or PM for that matter.

just because some of you seem to be in a little 'clique' doesn't mean the rules don't apply to you.

Well even though you were inquiring about a potential cowl repair, the title and general tone of the conversation is not really TECH. It would be better suited to either a PM or in the Classic Talk section, I totally agree about that. Hell I was one of the pioneers for the talk section, but I also understand that the last time Worth was here I don't think it exisited, so it was an innocent mistake in my eyes and I cut him some slack (a rarity around here these days). I saw little point to making a whole new thread in the talk section for something that was small and would fizzle out, and 2bav8 and Oboe are both big boys and fully capable of moving the thread to talk if they thought it so extremely inappropriate.

What all these genious's don't seem to understand is that instead of letting it just die off they come in with their own 2 cents and complain which keeps it alive so they can continue to b:tch about it.
