Last year sometime, I posted about driving issues with my TCP coilovers. You were kind enough to post what you thought my problem was. The car was in mothballs for some time while I went through the power and drive train, but I was able to use your advice before getting it back on the road.
It turns out that the previous alignment shop had the front arm (of UCR) shorter than the rear arm, which made it impossible to get enough caster. I discovered this while the car was on stands and used a caliper and carpenter's level to get the arms in a reasonable starting point. I found a good alignment shop with a guy who really understands the system and he aligned everything perfectly. The car now drives very predictably, which is a good thing.
Thanks for your help. Just wanted to let you know.
