that sounds pretty good Fidel, even if its only to get it running and unload later for the same price.

It's all stock stuff. When I bought the car it was beat up and primer grey...ripped up interior etc. First thing I did was to have the motor rebuilt by a local builder called "Engine Supply" here in Santa Ana. He has a great rep and had done a motor for me about 10 years ago. As I recall it was $1800 to rebuild the shortblock with reconditioned everything and new pistons and a custom cam and a Valve job. Throw the Edelbrock heads, intake and carb.......distributor, headers and valve covers......roller rockers....well, you can see how it gets exspensive pretty quick. I have a folder full of reciepts for the car in my office....Sounds awesome.....great cam. I have the specs in my office. Even when I built it though I already had plans for the stroker so I didn't want to go overboard. Wanted something I could drive for a while and be reliable. It's NOT a race motor by anymeans. But I would drive it anywhere.

Now the next motor is a differnet story...........

Thanks, it's been a long, hard, expensive road......but so far all worth it...
