Hi people im new on this and i dont know much; but i'll apreciatte if some body can tell me where can i find a store where i can buy performance parts for my 86' stang down here in phoenix,az and also can any one tell me if a 88bumber would fit my mustang.

AMP up there is supposed to have some stuff. There are some other places but I cant think of them right now.
For me (we only have a couple hot rod shops here - mostly old school stuff) I have to hit the online speed shops (and there are a bundle of them).

I dont know about the bumper but I dont see that it would bolt up without some decent modification. I dont know 4 eyed cars too well.

Anyhow welcome to the site. You will find it (I think) to be a really great group of peeps whose posts aren't dripping with ego.

the only place that i know of is All Mustang Performance.

they are located just east of 40th ST and University by the airport.

they also have a salvage yard as well.

Welcome to the site bp69, Im not to sure about the bumpers, I will ask my friend. He's big into mustangs, but yea I would think also like HISSIN50 said you would have to do some modifications for it to fit. I'll let you know something as soon as I find out from my friend. Once again welcome to the site, im sure you will find lots of useful help and information for your mustang here.

I know you can make a 86 mustang look like a 87-93, now I'm pretty sure to make that bumper fit you will need to change the bumper reinforcement behind it. If you dont like the four eyes, let me know and I'll send you a site on a 87-93 body swap for you mustang.

For local places, try finding a local forum in your area and those people can point you in the right direction.

The only place I know of on the west coast that is mustang specific is www.brothersperformance.com (They are a little pricey though)
