Well after waiting 2.5 weeks I finally received my 10K bi-xenon kit from DDMtuning.com

I've noticed that a couple other members have this same issue. After installing my kit (no instructions) I noticed that my high beam light was on even with the switch in the low beam position. If i flick the switch to the "high" position the light on the dash gets brighter but my lights do not.

I'm far from a wiring expert but i believe i have everything hooked up properly.

HA! having the same problem with my stang mods kit! im gonna give them a call tomorrow and talk about it!...

However if you unplug the one lead going to the bulb around the ballast the light on the dash works normally. Thats as far as i got diagnosing it.

Also when i turn on the headlights the fuel pump reprimes

Holy crap! Hope mine doesn't start that! lol

Do yours go low/high or no? I know you have the bi-xenon kit too but I wasn't sure if yours was having that kind of an issue either.

It was light outside but i noticed no change in brightness.

I figured ground issue... or because stangmods sent me a new harness and new style bulbs and i reused the older ballasts.

Here is other info i have found:

"Lots of the times when a 9007 application has this problem, it is because the harness is setup for a 9004 setup. the plugs are identical, but they are wired differently.

Since I do not know the specifics of your kit, I cant go into much more detail, but usually swapping a couple wires around in the harness takes care of the issue."

and:

"If the problem is the high beam indicator (as you say), then "insufficiant load" is your problem (providing that everything seems to function properly), & all you need is a resistor."

I am running a 5000K kit from DDM. Bi-xenon. Works perfectly. Every now and then, the ABS light will turn on when the lights are on. I found out it's due to the UDPs that I'm running. When they turn on, they drain just enough juice to trigger a code in the system...
