I have a 91 lx and I wanted to put HID's in my car. I read somewhere that the HIDs will not look good because of the headlight style on my car. I wanted to get new diamond clear headlights and HID's but i don't know if I need projector headlights to have them work correctly. Has anyone ever put HID's in a fox or a headlight unit that was not projector like?
Thanks
Dan

You can make HID work in any car. Now of course it's going to look a little different in an older car, but hey it works. For a rough idea of what HID's look like without projector lenses, look at a 95 - 00 Mercedes Benz C class or S Class. They don't have projector lenses, here is what they look like without projector lenses:

Look at the 3rd picture down, he has his HID's on.

HID are pretty expensive. I would recomend rewiring your headlights with a beefier gauge wiring and getting some high output PIAA Bulbs. Matched with your diamond clears you wont be disappointed
