Hey guys. I love the look of the aftermarket headlight splitters available. I would like to get a set, but I want to make sure they won't interfere with my HIDs. I am not sure if they'd block the lights or if it would work as it does with the halogens on regular GTs. Thanks.
I went down to my local Ford dealership (Jordan Ford in San Antonio TX) and they have a guy there who does "custom" stuff to the cars and then sells them at a markup. Anyway, the latest "creation" from that guy is a body kit, wheels, scoops, and some of the headlight splitters. And all this stuff was on a 2011 GT with HIDs.
What I am trying to say is, if the dealership would sell a car with them on it then what could be the problem?
You could make a "dummy" splitter and see if it block to much light? Just to try it out
at night park your car facing a wall, turn on the lights, go outside and place a fat marker or a ruler or something in front of your light and see if it changes the pattern shining on the wall
