If I disconnect either of the outer wires on the foot switch, it goes off but with both connected, it will not shut off. Any ideas.

To Date, this is probably the most frustrating thing I have ever done. At any rate, it is about 85% complete now. I just have to hook up the steering column connections, and then go hid all my wires
