Any one here use a stock stroke high compression bottom end? I was thinking about doing this for a budget rebuild since I already have the pistons to put my thumpers on. Any opinions?
Yep, I'm getting the heads shaved and using a smaller headgasket, shooting for 9.8:1 with the stock pistons and ~10.5:1 with forged TRWs when the motor gets rebuilt. Should run pretty good
The NMRA Pure Street combo's are built around that premis.... Most you'll get with a small cc chamber is about 10.5:1 even with a very small 3cc piston.
