Just washed my car in this heat, and the freakin windshield cracked

So how hard is it to install a windshield if I want to try this myself? And what a good price for one? TIA.

check with your insurance company. I know that in FL windshields are covered and I don't think that there is a deductable down here. Would be worth a call to see what they say.

NEVER wash your window with cold water in high heat!!.. Anyway if you were in NY i could of gave you a hookup on a windshield+installation. Goodluck... sorry to hear. A windshield should not cost too much. it is not that hard, but not easy at all to do it if you have never done it before. I had gotten a quote a couple months ago for around or under $200 installed over here

I'll check with the insurance, don't have full coverage if that matters.

I've washed cars in high heat plenty of times, this is a new one on me. I didn't see even the tiniest crack before where the crack started today. I think a friend can help with the install, so maybe I'll come out with just the windshield cost.
