You might as well install a 255lph, you maybe straining your stock unit as is.

I don't feel like the stock pump is enough to support your current combo.

Considering your forced combo plans, the stocker is gonna be way too small.

As the others have said, go for the high pressure 255lph pump.

After you upgrade the pump, what are your plans for the rest of the fuel system?

What about those flat top pistons, how much compression do you currently think you have?

I have always heard the 255lph pump was overkill as the lines and rail cannot flow close to that even with our larger than the fox rail. This was the biggest reason I got a 190lph pump.

Anyone else subscribe to this thought/idea?

I think that falls into the same camp as ..............................

373's will rev too high on the highway

putting a fox pcm in a 94-95

putting the 3rd or 4th stock h b on a 94-95

and other misc internet myths or ........................

just plain not so smart things to do

I see that point. Just wondering if there are any flow numbers on what the max flow in relation to pump lph on the stock fuel lines/rails are. There has to be a point were they are a real issue, and whatnot.

what is the stock h b ? head/block, h pipe?

Greg

Not too long after our cars came out the Fox boys started to use our rails to support high hp forced combos and they were using 255lph in tank AND in line pumps together to feed those rails. I guess that is why I kinda sorta don't believe the overkill thing.

I do want to say that I have no hard data to say that either one of us are right or wrong about this subject.

btw ...... h b is harmonic balancer.

I had heard our rails were better than the fox's, one thing even they will say our 94-95's have thats better .

I always just wanderd' were the line was. I fig. that the 190lph I have should be able to hang with my power level/needs as its like 2x's the stock pump and worse for worse I could add an inline.

stock harm. ball. yes that is bad, did it 2x's (was under part warranty) and said I'm done got a pioneer unit.

Stock pump is rated at 89lbs and hr. It flows a bit less though.
