I've switched to a 1-wire 100 amp internally regulated alternator and am not sure were I should get the 12v for the electric choke on my Holley. Can I just run a wire to a switched 12v source?

You can take it from any switched source. It just has to go off with the key, also if you use acc. alot youu may want to put a switch on it to shut it off when your on acc.

I researched this and someone recommended the blower motor supply wire. It is a switched source and is convenient to access. I connected mine there with no problems at all.
