Kidd Valley on Saturday evening. Doing my AOD/T-5 swap Saturday and Sunday. Going with a bunch of friends out to the fair in Monroe on Sunday night for the "races", demo derby and fireworks show. We've done it for the last three years and it's a redneck blast.
Friday I'm going to be doing a little work to the stang in the morning, trying to re route the exhaust so that the drag radials will fit (any suggestions of what worked best for anyone?) and later on in the morning/early afternoon I'll be working with 04Mystic on some compression testing and looking at how I should set up my nitrous. If I have time, later that day I'll actually finish installing all the electrical components of the nitrous and be interested in some type of road event or just hanging out somewhere for a while.
Saturday, I'll be getting my new speedo installed and if need be, finishing the nitrous and the exhaust re-routing job. Thinking about cutting it off in the back where it routes up and over the rear axle, just behind the axle and shooting it straight to the ground there... Anyone have any issues with carbon monoxide gas getting into the inside of the car from certain positions or placement of the exhaust? Definitely won't be able to join the cruise, which my wife and I would love to do, but we might try to make it to KV for the first time. I hear a lot of good stories about that place.
