Yeah I saw the block, but I am going to build a 347, not 308.

k......??? A 308 is .040 over... You can still build a 347 out of the block... Just clearance it and a stroker kit... Believe it'd end up 349 or 350 ci.

I've heard too many horror stories or making the walls too thin.

I've considered going with a 342, just not boring the 347 out.

Dude its a boss block. Do some more research, it's got a good amount of meat in it let alone can handle upwards of 1,000rwhp.

Yes its a boss block, but I have no intentions of getting that much power. I'll still have to spend more money to get the crank and all that put in.

I've done more research, and I see that he lowered his price a bit, and it's in SC, right below me... I think I may call tomorrow.

Why would you need to get the crank put in? It's a shortblock assembled already.

I want a 342 or bigger, not a 308.

I hope its not gone, I'm calling tomorrow, and I would drive 3 hours to get it.

In order to make a 347 stroker your going to have to bore the block.

Yeah, its tricky. I'm proud of my Geography knowledge.

I thought that a 308 was the stock crank, and the cylinders bored .040 over? I just want to get a larger displacement that 308.
