How hard can it really be to make a 4 seat dune buggy? I want one but forget spending 10gs for one....I found some "super specific" 4 seat dune buggy plans.... I can't see spending more than 3k with one with a v8 lol!!! I'm down to try it and see how it goes...
Not sure how into building yourself you are, but it's much cheaper to buy someone else's neglected project than to build one yourself. Especially with the price of steel today. I had a friend in high school who was into those. There is a difference between a small 4 seat buggy, and a sand car. A nice sand car usually costs around $80K. You can get a slightly neglected VW based dune buggy for like $1500.
