Alright people, I need some advice here. I just can't make up my mind!!! I'm definitely sure I want to change my hood the whole fake scoop thing isn't doing it for me... so I've really come up with two options. First option is a 2000 Cobra R hood, which would look something like this, without the flames:

Or I was thinking about finding a silver 03 or 04 V6 without the pony package (which there is one I know of) and seeing about just a straight up hood trade. Which would basically give my car the exact 99/01 Cobra look:

Either way I'm not really concerned about cost to much. I just can't decide. The Cobra R hood gives me the "wow" factor and the other option is more the cool factor I think, kinda stealthy. I'm also planning on changing my badging, the tribar pony on the sides and the old school Ford V8 logo instead of the GT logo. So overall I think the second option would kinda complete the stealth look. But I'm not exactly sure. Can I hear some opinions?

Thanks.

Just get the Cobra R already. Or better yet go with a Saleen Extreme hood with the rear facing heat extractors.

Option III ->a new 03/04 Cobra hood. More "noticable" than factory but not overstated.

I like your thought but when you have that hood without the 03/04 Cobra bumper it leaves a weird gap!

We'll teach you for getting an oe style hood . It'll be fine the car looks way different as it is, so what if it has the same hood, it's all good

Just buy a damn KB already then you can go around hood less and still look cool.

Well the price difference between a hood and a KB are pretty significant! And ya, I think me with a car without a hood is like the last thing that will ever happen! lol!
