Quick question/favor. Can someone please check and tell me what the number is on the light bulb located on the hood in the engine bay. (The light bulb that lights up the engine whenever you pop your hood.) Thanks.

im thinkin its a 168 or a 194...not sure because i dont have one anymore... but if i remember correctly thats the size

For the round style it is a 68 or 89, either will work, and for the straight push in stlye it is a 912, 916, 921, or 922. All will work producing different amounts of light.

I was told it was a 98 and I can't find anyone who carries it...

It's the same one that goes in the license plate lamps. I think it's a 168...worked for me. Just get it at Autozone.

Yeah -- that will light up, or you can get the correct bulb and actually be able to see.
