Anyone know who would have a chrome Hood Prop Rod that is about 1/4 or 1/2 the lenght of an original equipment prop rod?

Just get a piece of stainless steel rod, heat it and bend it like you need....

Or why not just take the stock one off and cut it to however long you want. Then polish it yourself.

Those struts that cardude has look pretty good tho.

Yah I though about fabricating something. I will give that a shot first, just thought that I would ask.

Yeah, I wasn't planning on getting them until I found out about the group purchase and it was just a impulse purchase. I love the attention they get, looks unique.

Still need those specs??? I just saw your post.

mustang90- It came with 4 rivets, just drill the right size hole and pop em in. I added one more rivet to each side because I have a fiberglass hood, and there was an empty hole for one.

How do the struts act with the fiberglass hood. I am worried about damaging my hood. Dont have another 500.00 for a second hood.
