Hood Scoop?

Im thinking of adding a hood scoop to my 03 v6 just for looks not functional or anything. On american muscle (ill post the link below) it says it will only fit 99-02 v6.

Is there any reason it wouldnt fit a 2003 v6?

They seem pretty specific about the application................may want to call them and verify.

From what I can see, the design of the hood is different between an '02 and an '03 V6 Mustang...which would explain it. I'm not an expert though, just did some quick research via Google images

from what I can tell the hood on the '03's scoops down

I don't think it would work on the 03 but like previously mentioned, it's worth an e-mail or call before spending all that money

in 03 the hood style changed to a reverse style louver. these were ment to resemble the 1999 and 2001 cobras. if you are wanting to add a hood scoop you would have to pick up a 1999-02 hood
