my two favorites are the stormin norman and the Cobra R SVO, i went with the Cobra R SVO from Design Concepts. No hood is better than the other its all what you like the most, who cares what your friends think. As far as brands go, Cervinis is THE BEST! They also are the most expensive. Design Conecepts is just as good and a lot cheaper. If money isnt an issue though, Get Cervinis. As far as the style, its what ever YOU like the most not other people!

I originally had the Cervinis 3 inch cowl hood, but I always wanted the Cobra R so I traded the kid I bought the Cowl hood from, since he wanted the cowl back. I told him to buy the Cobra R and we'd do a straight up trade. Im really happy with how my car came out. In the next couple of weeks I should be getting a Cobra Grille Insert. But for now I have to wait and see wtf is wrong with my car, just broke down on me this morning.
Later,
jesse

My opinion, there really is no "best look" hood....all comes down to preferance. There is "best quality". There is junk too like cincy composites. I've had a cervini R..was good. Didn't like the fact they don't allow you to run the stock spring to pop the hood up enough to get to the release. I've ran 3 different H.O. Fibertrends(made the original 95 cobra R hood for Ford) 4" cowls....love them. Great quality(like cervini) and verrrry light.

i changed my mind ,that hood looks good even without the saleen wing, that is my favorite hood for a fox, on sn's i dont think it fits in, i like regular cobra R hoods on sn's or even the cobra R with the 96-98 cobra scoops on it.

I think what you are looking for is called personal prefference.....put the hood on that you like...dont ask other people what they like...I got a hood that only a couple of people have and I love it cause i choose it and i get alot of comments about it

Yeah, I love your hood, I've never seen that version in person. Just on the net.

it also depends on the color of your car, to me certain hoods look good on certain colors.

i have the stormin normin hood...here are a few pics...still have to install the hood pins and get it painted...but you get the idea, in the last pic for some reason it makes it look like it raises up alot more then it dose...only has a 2.5 cowl...must just be the angle of the pic

Cobra R SVO gets my vote I put on an '82 Mustang Scoop on my stock hood and I think that also looks good but not as "exceptional" as the fiberglass hoods we see, even if the 82 scoop is more rare. [see my Mustang pages for the scoop]
