I'm kinda torn between the classic cowl hood (I wouldn't go bigger than 3", personally) and a 2.5" Stormin Norman/Mach 1 hood. Cervini's would be the way to go in either case, but they don't come cheap. Wait for a big Ford event within driving distance of ya' (World Ford Challenge always has some great deals in the vendor alley), borrow a truck from a friend/relative, and pick one up then - even after gas money, you'll still likely come out a good deal cheaper than ordering straight-up at any other time of the year. That, or keep your eyes peeled for anyone selling one off on a Craigslist ad near you...

I just bought a Kanean 2" cowl for my car, let me tell you, i havent seen a hood fit like this ever. thing was perfect.

No pics though, refuse to take any until there are fenders back on the car again

the goodmark 2" steel cowl hood from Jegs fits real well. A little heavier than fiber, but easier to repair if needed.

How do you know how well it fits without fenders on the car?

Stock hood ftw.

You should wait for the Raceway Park NJ swap meet and but it on the spot. I did that and paid $325, no tax, nor shipping-and i was done with it! Just have one of yoru boys with ya, carry it out, install in on the spot and re-sell your own, Just like me.

I'm gonna put a 9 inch cowl on my 4 banger, and a stock hood on my soon-to-come 460W. I hate it when people say only get enough cowl for your motor... F THAT, it's all about the looks baby!

2.5-3'' is perfect, 4'' if you really really need it for clearance.
