I'm using the stock 1994 starter on my engine and need to verify if I have it hooked up correctly. It works alright as far as I can tell, just need some verification. Of course, it's grounded. I have a 12 ga. wire running from the "tab" on the starter to the REAR stud on the solenoid. I have the larger power wire running from the starter to the FRONT stud on the solenoid. This is correct, isn't it?

I need to know if it's correct, because I need to try to get my ignition switch hooked up soon. Thanks.

I don't remember off the top of my head, but I plan to put my car up on blocks here soon and will look for you then, but it might be a while. I've only unhooked it when I replaced it, otherside I just unbolt it from the bell housing and let it sit so I don't mess with the wires.
