Horsepower/Torque Discrepancy!

Can anyone clarify the reason for this discrepancy? Please see both links. http://www.edmunds.com/new/2007/ford/shelbygt500/100751535/specs.html This first link is what everyone sas the GT500 actually produces. http://www.kbb.com/kb/ki.dll/kw.kc.ncs2?kbb.TX;686356;TX027&76543&&;;nc;&5&07FOD6_SCP;060702 This second link is what Kelley's Blue Book seems to think the GT500 produces. Does Kelley have old info or are they right?

ford recently realesed the official certified rating of 500 ponies.

the KBB was the pre-production estimates.

I also read that article. I was just curious as to why KBB is wrong. I've never actually seen them be off before.

they need to update their facts. like i said, 475 was a pre-production estimate.

They really do need to update them. I'm gonna go see if there's some way to contact them.
