Gotta hate those cheezy mufflers... uggggghh...

I hate the visible exhaust cans, they look horrible. :notnice:

People made a big deal bout it.

Well, people are going to make a big deal out of the unfoutunate design that is these ugly and crude looking camryesque exhaust cans.

I love the look of the car overall, but to cheap around one of the most important aspects of the Mustang does it no justice.

Hopefully the aftermarket can create some solution...

P.S. Buy me a new 2005 and I will retract all before mentioned cynical exhaust statements!:nice:

Looks good, kind of Boring though. Can't wait to see it in person at the NAIAS, Hopefully the Cobra and Mach 1 will look a little more exciting. Hopfully it won't flop like Fords other retro car the Thunderbird.

Good God, just paint the damn cans black and they go away.

Looks real nice, I still can't wait to see this thing in person. Maybe I shouldn't because I am impulsive and might end up driving one back home which isn't something I am planning at all ;)

So far the outlook is very promising. I still have to sit in it and actually drive it to make an honest opinion. I like how the GT and Base front facias are different. It's about time they separate the two looks instead of just adding fogs on the GT. :nice:

That's nice, better than the current model I'd like to say, interior-wise anyway. The outside I like, but I like the current just as good.

I had a 96 coupe for three years and my '99 GT since - ... '99. I've been looking at the same interior for over eight years. I'm looking forward to an '05 or '06. Looks great! Hope the Convertible turns out as nice looking as the hardtop.

The muffs suck afterall, I think the Stangs signature has been the dual shiney pipes out the back (or side for you Roush guys), but straight pipes would fix that. And I'm sure the aftermarket will shortly have a fix in store for us. :nice:

How much HP for the V6? I can't read it. Looks like over either 260 or 280 HP? Sounds like that could be the low buck sleeper choice, especially if it's gonna be tricky to mod these cars. Go with a 5 speed and do a little creative weight reduction and it seems like it could be faster than an automatic GT (especially since it should be lighter right out of the box than the GT).

It says over 200hp.
