Houston Rice "Its about as fast as a Mustang GT"

somehow i highly doubt it can beat the 5.0s, seeing as how theyre not THAT far off of a PI 2v to begin with, and theyre pretty close to the 96-98 2v's anyway.

ALso i like how the "axles pop slightly"....extra word...slightly...

what a tool

i love how gts are supposed to be the slowest mustangs by supra evo sti standards(any video review arrguement will prove this) but the lower imports are always sooooooo proud to say their faster then one

Im selling my 89 Civic because I need a 4 door car. It gets me into a lot of trouble so im trying to get away from the street racing scene. The transmission shift perfect, no grinds, engine runs great also. Its about as fast as a Mustang GT. It can beat the 5.0's but has trouble with the 4.6's. its a great project car if your into racing.

Not to stick up for the guy because I hate almost all imports but depending on what motor swap, it could be decently quick.

A buddy of mine has a CRX w/ an H22 (I think, I don't know import motors) that has tore a few GTs in my town a new ass hole. His car is a POS too and you can see the ground through where the center counsel SHOULD be but its pretty quick.

Yea dont be suprsied if he could really set right next to a stock GT....what you guys are forgetting is WEIGHT. That little car probably weighs around 2400#s or so.

All he would need is about 180HP to have about the same power to weight ratio as a 99+ GT.

As far as weight goes, I've got a 90 Si hb for local and train duty and it's weight is just under 2300lbs and this one probably has a B16 (2000 Civic Si motor) as this is the most popular engine swap. Even with the motor swap it's still got an open diff and (IMO) would take a bit more hp to top either a stock 5.0 or 4.6.

Pretty funny ad.:rlaugh:

If he was local to me....i'd prob go look at it. I need a little 4-banger commuter car. 50+ miles a day is killing me.

I'd prob show up in my Mustang GT too :)

I would buy an old rabbit then. LOL My buddy just got one and hes puling 40+mpg with and is swapping a little tubo diseal into and is expecting 50+mpg.

Plus he just put 17s on it and it actually looks pretty sweet. :rlaugh:

Actually friend of mine may give me an 80's Escort 4-banger 5-spd. It just needs an Alt. Can't beat free.

Gonna suck driving it around, but when you drive 50 miles a day to go to work...who cares. Plus no chicks to look at anyway :(
