I would just sell the cam with the specs available. I've seen that on the corral all the time. Just have the interested persons email you for specs.

Dude, just find out what the specs are and sell it. There's no way in h3ll that I would ever purchase a used cam without knowing the specs...

What do you think would happen if you'd purchase a custom cam from FTI ? You would pay and then when you'd receive the cam, you'd get the cam card. I have the specs. This isnt just a regular cam. Well in theory yes, but it was grinded for a specific combo and goals, etc, and chosen by an expert to suit your needs. I'm not too sure how this sale is going to turn out.

I'm done with the 95 Paul.. I was selling it all modded but I had no luck..Then I had that nitrous "incident" at the track and I'm 99% positive that it caused the piston to crack/melted. EVERY mod is off the car right now, except linelock and 255lph fuel pump which will be removed shortly. Since the piston incident I've been stripping it down to stock. Now I need another shortblock.

I understand, so why not sell the cam with the card (specs)? It may be a good fit for someone out there.

Maybe Im just confused to what this post is supposed to be about

Either way I think Ill get screwed... I'll say the specs of the cam, my mods that I had, my 1/4times and then the people are just gonna go and try to find a similar off the shelf cam (with my cam card) since I had a good powerful proven combo..

I would just post the lift/duration, along with the rest of the combo you had installed. A dyno sheet and 1/4 mile times might be good too.

Contact Ed and see if he will buy it back. I think he sometimes does this, but I'm not 100% sure on this. If not, just list the cam's lift and duration, or list the combo it was one and the power it made. That sucks about the '95. I don't know your entire combo, but I may be interested in a few parts. Email me a list at killercanary@hotmail.com if you have a minute. I'm starting to get things ready to put mine back together.

I'll give him a call to see if he wants it back. I'd be surprised if he does.

I just emailed you my list Paul

I sold my cam to a friend who has plans to build a similar combo as I had but with the right intake

99.99998% of the people on these message boards have not a clue what the cam specs actually MEAN. Most look at lift and duration and think its either too big, too small or just right LOL. I'm kinda cam illiterate as well hence why I went custom.

Before I sold mine Ed told me he had a trade in policy for the original cam owner. Old cam + $150 gets you a new cam. I ended up selling mine to my friend who is slowly building a TW headed 302.

I'm also interested seeing that my huge lift cam and big overlap will not work withe the turbo set up.

So he then gives you 175$ for the old cam...Not too bad but I'd like a little more, since I have results to prove how it worked.
