IT's funny someone mentioned autocrossing because me and a buddy autocrossed (well slalomed to be exact) some construction cones on the interstate on our way to the road course we go to in MI. It was @ 6am near the Indiana/Michigan border. No workers to be seen and the cones were spread apart enough we were able to get thru them at about 45 mph.

But to the topic...when was your last tune up...Have you corrected the speedo for the 3.73's?

Sorry I didn't know odo didnt work. Scratch my comment.
Here we go...Have someone in the passenger seat plot you speed as a function of time f(t) and take the integral of that from 0 to t (you can set the constant from integration = to 0)and voila you have a distance! Now thats assuming your speedo is accurate.

I had assumed the trip meter was broken but the milage odometer worked. If there's no means of measuring mileage, how did we get the 11.5 mpg figure in the first place?

im curious where your 11.5 came from also you asked the question and answered it before anyone else got to take a shot at it haha ...are you sure you got the right spedo gear? i think its a simple problem...so how can you predict mpg without the odometer?
