FWIW, my 82 has been 1.8 sixty foots, and high 7s in the eighth mile on a 7.5 in axle. An orig 79 unit, with 4.10 gears and a Ford Racing Traction Loc that I installed. On drag radials. On a 100 shot. Yes, I have a couple 8.8s in the back just in case....
