anybody know why my motor has vacuum from then oil filler neck? (sucking into the valve cover?) or is this normal? its the strangest thing because my car smokes, and burns oil like crazy. then when i take a rubber plug and stick it on the little tube there on the oil filler neck, where the rubber hose from the intake connects to the oil filler neck, while at the same time leave the rubber hose connected to the intake. my car no longer smokes!

the line from the oil filler to the TB is part of the PCV system. the air flow is bi-directional, so it is kinda important. some folks have capped the line on the oil filler off, and put a filter on the line on the TB, but that allows unmetered air into the motor.

i would really inspect your PCV valve and ancillary PCV components. the valve, grommet, and metal screen are under 30 bucks from ford. do it and forget it for two years. also, some aftermarket valves dont fit well in the grommet.

not that any of this will help you, but it is some info.
good luck.
