how do i remove side scoop trip??

im not sure of the exact name for this peice on the sides of the car on my 65 coupe(fake scoop?) anyhow, i need to remove it to sand underneith and repaint...thanks

If you're talking about the chrome trim pieces, you need to pull the INTERIOR quarter panels (the panels under under the rear quarter windows) to access the nuts. Leave the rear windows in the up position. There are three nuts per side.

You'll need to take off the rear quarter interior panel, remove the quarter window. Then you can access the nuts or whatever is holding the side ornament from inside.
