How do I separate spark plug wires and keep of exhaust and valve covers?

Anyone know a good way to separate spark plug wires and keep them off valve
covers, exhaust, etc ?

I just bought some new spark plug wires (Motorcraft OEM 8MM replacement)
and they are a bit longer than the original ones . I want to do this right
and make sure they don't hit anything as they are now.

I don't remember exactly how the original ones were separated (should have taken a pic) but I did replace them one by one to preserve the stock routing.

Also, I remember seeing someone running there coil wire through
the engine hoist tab. Is this a good idea? Should I put plastic conduit over it
Like the original?

get some wire looms. there are multiple styles out there. get the ones you like the most.

Don't remember what the Ford plugs are but I had problems with the wires hitting the headers every time I tried to use the stock style 45* boots. I have not had a single problem since switching to 90* boots.

I used 90* boots, 12 chrome abs plastic wire seperators and tons of black quarter inch wire loom. No problems here! I did the custom MSD ones though, so I measured the lengths pretty damn well
