How do you protect the black trim from fading?

I remember on my old 1990 5.0 that the worst part was all the black trim around the car and the rubber around the windows would fade and get this white haze all over making it look like crap.

I now have my 2002 mustang and dont want it to become the same way. What do you use on the mirrors, the trim around the windows/windshield to keep it shiny black and protect from fading/hazing.

Yeah, back to black for exterior pieces and trim. I use silicone spray lubricant for all weatherstripping (except the fuzzy type weatherstrips).

Doesn't Back to Black run when it's wet?

All you need it was worked wonders on my 11 yr old trim. It has lasted a month so far just use a foam paint brush with a little bit of trim restorer (very very little) and just paint it on. Wait 15 min then buff it off.

I use Clearkote tire treatment on the vinyl and rubber.

It doesnt run when it rains as long as you wipe the excess off after application.
