I need to remove my computer to install a chip. How do I remove it? I pulled off the kick plate last night and pulled out the three harnesses that are in front of it. Do I just remove the one screw I can see on the white plastic strap or is there more to it? Is that a connector on the bottom and if so do I need to pull that off too? How?

I don't want to mess anything up so I'm asking up front before I mess with it tonight.

I did a search but couldn't find anything.

TIA

(I hope to have the car back up and running by tomorrow.)

yes, just unscrew that the one screw holding the white plastic strap and slide the pcm out. it's a little awkard to see what you're doing but it's not hard

Thanks!

Is that a connector on the bottom? Does it just pull off? Do I have to remove it before I pull out the PCM?

...thanks again...
